Connect2 - Mental Health Awareness Week - 7-11 October 2019

In partnership with NHS, AHSCP and our 3rd Sector colleages, ACC is proud to present our first Mental Health Awareness Week - .

The purpose of the week is to help raise awareness of mental health issues in the workplace and to help us breakdown some of the taboos and stigma that are association with poor mental health.

The programme for the week is filled with training opportunities and awareness raising sessions, with some fairly hard hitting subject content on occasions and promises to deliver an interesting and diverse range of materials for everyone to benefit from.

We have traditional talks, training opportunities both face to face and online and even a mobile information bus going out to our depots and schools to make sure that everyone has a chance to upskill on this topic.

By learning more about the huge variety of mental health issues that can affect us all, we can begin our journey to looking after each other and tackling the stigma and raising the awareness in our organisations.
